Barry Symons - CEO Jonas Software
Barry Symons joined Constellation Software (Jonas's Parent Company) in 1997 to manage the financial affairs of the business, assist in the evaluation of acquisition prospects, structure and negotiate deals and direct the acquisition integration process. Barry was named CEO of Jonas Software in September 2007 where he now oversees business strategy for Jonas's Construction and Hospitality related businesses. Before joining Constellation, Barry was with a big four Accounting firm in varying roles of increasing responsibility. Barry holds a Chartered Accountancy designation and an Honours Business degree both of which were received with distinction.
Tracey Keates - CFO of Jonas Software
As Chief Financial Officer, Tracey works directly with entire senior team, assisting each in driving company performance. Tracey is responsible for all financial, treasury, human resources, corporate compliance and administration functions, and works with acquired companies as they transition into the Jonas group. Tracey holds her CGA designation and joined Jonas in 2004 as the Controller, and has held positions of increasing responsibility within Jonas’ Corporate Finance team as the company has grown. Prior to joining Jonas, Tracey worked in finance and management roles in the manufacturing and service industries.y.
Steve Cowan - President of Jonas Construction
Steve Cowan is President of Jonas Construction Software. Operating under the principle of expanding and developing the Jonas Enterprise and Jonas Premier products, Steve is responsible for developing an efficient company-wide strategy while leading an executive team and maintaining the corporate culture.
Mr. Cowan has been part of the CSI group since 2004, during which time he held the position of Director of Sales Operations of the Jonas Software Club Management Division and more recently the position of Vice President of Online Services, Jonas Software Club Management Web Division. Mr. Cowan is recognized for his expertise in online services and marketing and has been responsible for the launch of several key online initiatives that have significantly influenced the club management industry.
In addition to his industry-specific knowledge and 18 years of software experience, Mr. Cowan holds an Honours BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Steve Ecclestone - Vice President Product
Since joining Jonas in 1995 Steve has held a number of positions across the support, installation and development departments and currently oversees development and product direction as the Vice President of Product. Prior to 1995 Steve worked for 16 years in heavy construction in positions ranging from field office manager to estimator to controller. Steve holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
Ron Shai, Vice President of Sales
Ron Shai has been with Jonas for over 10 years. His industry knowledge and extensive background is impressive and he is always willing to speak candidly about what the right software solution for you should be. If it’s Jonas he will tell you, if it’s not – he will tell you. Ron completed his degree in economics from York University. Ron is available 24/7 (he’s not kidding) and welcomes calls whenever is convenient for you.
